Hyderabad, July 20. According to the report of the office of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Telangana, Mr. Khawaja Arifuddin Sahib met his real creator this evening. Respected Khawaja Arif uddin Sahib was the last Ameer of the United Andhra Pradesh.

Khawaja Arif uddin Sahib was a very dynamic and active personality. He became associated with the Islamic Movement in his youth. He played an active role in the establishment of Jamaat-e-Islami’s student organization SIO and also led it at the state and central level. And performed various responsibilities from Unit President, State Secretary, and of Ameer-e-Halqa. At the local level also he was engaged in various social, welfare and educational activities.

He was a member of Telangana State Majlis-e-Shura and Markazi Majlis e Numaindagan. His demise has created a huge vacuum in the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Telangana. On the news of the demise Ameer-e-Halqa Mr. Hamid Mohammad Khan, Secretary Tarbiyat Mr. Abdul Basit Anwar Sahib, Abdul Majeed Shoaib Secretary Da’wah Department, Nazim-e-Shaher Hafiz Mohammad Rashaduddin and other officials offered condolence and prayed for him.
