Thanks a lot for showing overwhelming response for the enrolment in “Foundation Course in English Writing Skills”. Within 3 days, we reached three times the seats available in one batch. The HRD department is stopping the process of registration as of now. We are planning to accommodate the present applicants in three batches with different timings as follows:

1. Morning 08.00 to 09.00 am (‏‏Mr. SM Fasiullah and co-instructor)

2. Noon 11.00 to 12.00pm (Mrs. Ayesha Ameer and co-instructor)

3. Evening 07.30 to 08.30pm (‏Mr. SM Fasiullah and co-instructor)

We are adding few more resource persons.

1. Mrs. Ayesha Ameer : Ayesha Ameer is a writer, editor and translator. She holds a MA English (TESL) from EFLU. She writes periodically about socio-political issues. She has also worked as women’s coordinator for Forum the Rostrum, a speaking skills platform. She is a stickler for grammar and is passionate about good English. She believes the world can be a better place if everyone began taking long walks and writing down the stories of their lives.

2. Ms. Syeda Farha Shah : Ms. Syeda Farha Shah is a seasoned English lecturer with more than 10 years of teaching experience. She has MA and M.Phil in English literature, and a B.Ed degree. She is currently pursuing Ph.D in English literature from Maulana Azad National Urdu University.

The allotment of short listed candidates to different batches will be done randomly. The request to change a batch will be accepted only on the availability of vacancies in the batch requested.

Please note that Mr. S M Fasiullah is the English Writing Course Coordinator while Mr. Abdul Ghani is the Central Coordinator of HRD Department’s Short-term courses.

Personal care will be given to all learners to clarify doubts and improve drafts. References will be provided for further exercises.

Assignments and certification
Every specialization includes assignments. You will need to successfully complete assignments to earn your certificate.

What next after this course?
Once you have a fair understanding of the process of writing, types of writing and best practices of writing, you can move to an advanced level. At the advanced level, you can opt for any specialized field of writing:

• Academic writing
• Business writing
• Creative writing
• Writing for media, etc.

Essential Guidelines
All learners must have proper internet connectivity with ZOOM app installed in their gadgets. Please be ready with alternatives in case of any technical issue.

Daily attendance will be maintained by instructors. In case, if any candidate is absent for three consecutive classes then his/her name will be removed from the course and WhatsApp group.

All learners are expected to join the class at least five (05) minutes before its start. They should attend classes without any disturbance. Using head phones is preferable.

Fee will be collected from those learners who successfully qualify the Entrance Test. List of qualified candidates will be shared on jihts.org and WhatsApp group. Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Who are the instructors?

The HRD Telangana has brought onboard seasoned instructors who have years of experience in writing and teaching English language.

Mr. S M FASIULLAH
Course Coordinator cum Instructor

He is an author, editor and translator with a decade of experience working in corporate companies and media. He holds a Gold Medal in English literature, SET in English, and English for Career Development certificate from University of Pennsylvania. He teaches M.A. English students in Dr. BRAOU Study Centre in Hyderabad.

MUDASIR AHMED GORI
Instructor

He is a poet and creative writer. He has many years of experience in writing and teaching English. He holds Ph.D. in English literature and SET in English. He writes articles for various English newspapers. He teaches English to Polytechnic students in Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU).

Note: The number of instructors shall be increased depending on the demand.
