JIH and SIO Relief Work in Hyderabad City
Hyderabad: A large part of the city has been affected due to heavy rains since last 3 days. Last night (13th October) 10 lives were lost due to wall collapse in Bandla Guda. Severe rains have left many areas in city inundated.
City President Mohammad Rashaduddin along with city secretaries Mr. Mohammad Muniruddin and Mr. Ahmed Junaid Sobhani inspected the areas while Mirza Azam Baig City Secretary visited the areas of the old city and also asked the government to provide relief to the victims.
Jamaat-e-Islami Hind and Students Islamic Organization (SIO) volunteers took up relief works on a war-footing. A coordinated program was launched irrespective of religion or caste for rescuing the stranded people, providing temporary accommodation, preparing and distributing of food packets and drinking water.
SIO Volunteers did an awesome work throughout the city. Few of the heavily affected areas in the city Nadeem Colony in Tolichowki, Golkonda, Al Jubail Colony Chandrayangutta, Shaheen Nagar, Royal Colony Balapur, Yaqutpura, Malakpet, Bahadurpura, Falaknumah, Muradnagar, relief work is being carried out in all of these areas.
Approximately total 15,000 ready to eat food packets were distributed (Food was cooked in multiple places and procured from Hotels, etc.)
People were shifted to safer places by boats in Tolichowki, Nadeem Colony and other severely affected areas. In few places emergency kits were also distributed.

Registrations for Second Spell of Basic Tajweed course started
The Department of HRD and the Islamic Society of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Telangana, in collaboration with Vifaq ul Ulema, Telangana, has successfully completed first spell of a very purposeful Quranic learning Program #Basic_Tajweed_Course. About 160 participants have attended the course and received their certificate of success. Initially, this program is restricted for Members of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Telangana, Members of SIO, GIO and AIITA Telangana. After going through this course participants will be able to:
• Familarize them with the basic aspects of recitation of Qur’an and be able to recite the Qur’an correctly.
• Be able to pay attention to the letters of the Qur’an as accurately as possible
• Be able to recite the Qur’an correctly by following the correct pronunciation and essential rules of Tajweed
• Recognize the diacritical marks and understand them as much as possible while reciting the Quranic text
• They should be familiar with the punctuation and symbols to the large extent and be able to keep them in the recitation of the Qur’an as much as possible.
The duration of the Basic Tajweed Course will be one month ie four weeks, and the classes will be five days a week. The course will start on October 20, 2020, Allah willing. Each class will include maximum 18 to 20 learners. The course will be affiliated to, Jamia Darul Huda and Jamia Riaz-ul-Salhat, two well-known religious schools in Hyderabad. After completion of the course, certificates will be given to men from Jamia Darul Huda, Hyderabad and women from Jamia Riyadh -us-Salehat, Hyderabad.

3. 5 classes per week from Monday to Friday.

M.A.SAMAD, MA
A prominent author, debater and Telugu teacher with rich experience of over 25 years in teaching Telugu as a language. He has to his credit many appreciations and best teacher awards from MANUU, SIASAT DAILY, AIITA, SIO, and JIH. He is an expert in mentoring non Telugu professionals through Spoken classes and conducting Telugu learning crash courses. He taught many lawyers, doctors and business men ,sales representatives, policemen, officers, and politicians including Sri Mehmood Ali, the Honble Home Minister Govt of Telangana.
Mr.Muhammad Mujahid
Presently he is working as a sub-editor at Geeturai Telugu Weekly. As a Telugu journalist he has a vast experience of about ten years. He has also contributed over a hundred articles in various popular newspapers on social, spiritual and political issues. Recently he has written an introductory book about Islam too.
One month online Spoken Telugu course Bhashana (భాషణ)
Telugu is the language of two states in India, namely Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. People use this language in their day to day life. One should have felt the need of spoken Telugu skill whenever he encounters native users. Not only in these two states, neighbouring states and all over India and abroad Telugu is an important language. By learning Telugu one can easily move around with Telugu people, communicating with them freely, sharing ideas and thoughts and this will help for personal contacts and for professional improvement as well.
Responsibility for language learning is shared by learners, parents, teachers, and the community. Here, we are trying to provide environments where one shall continue to develop basic Telugu language knowledge, communication skills, and strategies to achieve personal, and social goals. Insha-Allah, we will provide Telugu resource persons serving in different timings to accommodate diversified learners.
