Online meeting of Ameer Halqa Hamid Mohammad Khan Sahab, Nazim Shahr Hafiz Mohammad Rashaduddin Sahab and others from the inaugural session

Today the whole world is troubled by a virus invisible to the naked eye. People are worried about their health and well-being. The fear of death and its shadows are visible everywhere. After all, why was this torment and trial imposed? What is the reason that the Lord of the worlds is angry? This is the time when man needs to repent and return to his Lord. At this time when Muslims need to focus on self-improvement, it is also the time to introduce non-Muslims to the religion of Islam. It is difficult to meet people in today’s situation but a large number of people are definitely connected with media and social media at this time. Therefore, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Great Hyderabad, has decided to launch a 15-day online campaign on social media among Muslims and non-Muslims on a large scale under the banner of Da’wah and Reform Society. The campaign will run from July 12 to 26, 2020. The campaign will use all social media platforms (Zoom, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, Blogs) and others to spread the message of Islam to a large section of the people of Hyderabad. The inaugural online program of the campaign was conducted by ‘Zoom’ under the chairmanship of Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Telangana, Mr. Hamid Mohammad Khan Sahab.

Mr. Inamullah Khan started the program with recitation of Quran. After which JIH Greater Hyderabad City President Mr. Hafiz Rashaad Uddin, in his inaugural address, he presented the aims and objectives of the campaign. In his address, he said that whenever such trials have occurred in human history, it has been the tradition of the prophets to humbly seek forgiveness from the Almighty and pray frequently. The Qur’an also mentions such incidents that trials are in fact a warning to human beings to return to their creator. He said that it is necessary to ask for forgiveness at this time because tribulations are avoided by asking for forgiveness. Hafiz Mohammad Rashaduddin said that for the first time an online Dawah and Islah campaign is going to be launched on behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Hyderabad. He appealed to all members, workers and allies (men and women) to be a part of this campaign. Today, people’s hearts are softened by the fear of the virus, so it is the right time to speak to them about the right path. He said that this online campaign would be launched in Urdu, Telugu and English languages. During the campaign, short video clips would be made to introduce Islam. Ameer Jamaat-e-Islamic Hind Telangana Moulana Hamid Mohammad Khan Sahab in his presidential address said that, “In present times every person is remembering the Lord. He is praying to the creator. In such an environment, we should convey his message to the servants of God. He said that this work is a work of empathy. It is our duty to abide by the religion.
